After a quarter where the markets gave us more bark than bite, with equity indices overall pretty flat, we move into an interesting period for global financial markets. Governments and central banks need to come to terms with evidence that shows that inflation can no longer be dismissed as transitory and their expectations of the direction of inflation and response to that, may lead to an inflection point for markets at some point in the coming months.
